Though there are many great reasons to choose cremation, it’s not a green process. Modern cremation requires very high heat, which is achieved by burning a lot of fossil fuel. After all that heat has served its purpose, it simply wafts out into the air as “waste heat.” The town of Redditch, near London, wants to change that.
