Thursday, May 19th, 2011

eric jamaliIt’s the unthinkable: a parent outliving one of their children. Especially in the cases of terminal and unexcpected illness, the financial strain on a family can be devastating. We understand all too well the feelings that come with losing a member of your family – one who shouldn’t have been lost – and the stresses that come with that time.

We’re announcing today the launch of The Eric Jamali Fund in conjuction with the Morgan Adams Foundation. Designed to help families when they are in their time of greatest need, the fund offers different kinds of assistance for families who have lost a child to terminal illness. Whether you need a referral to a compassionate funeral service provider who will work with your family or financial assistance for those funeral costs, we want you to know that there is a resource available and we’re here 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To apply for assistance from the fund, simply visit the Morgan Adams Foundation website and review the section on this page called Special Use Funds. There’s a phone number and an email address that can be used to address all of your questions and at any time. We also welcome families who are considering the pre-planning process and ask that you don’t hesitate to tell u show we might be of assistance.

From our family to yours, the Fund and Une Belle Vie are our dedication to our son Eric. We invite you to learn more about Eric and how he’s our inspiration to keep living, believing and helping others.
