Ceramic urns: beautiful, earth friendly and one-of-a-kind

No two ceramic urns will ever look the same. These beautiful, unique pottery urns come in a variety of colors and hues, and each is literally one-of-a-kind.

Of the many materials available, ceramic offers the greatest variety in color, looks, finishes and shapes. Ceramic pottery can resemble petrified wood, stone or even jewels. It can look vibrant and iridescent, or it can convey an earthy feel. It can appear polished and shiny ― or have a subdued and classy matte finish.

Ceramic cremation urns include cremation boxes, as well as circular vessels. Even the lid will have a distinct personality, with options ranging from a laser-cut, metal handle to a delicately-shaped, ceramic lid.

Affordable urns – without sacrificing quality or beauty

In addition to being beautiful, a ceramic urn offers a great variety when it comes to price. When a loved one passes, we know it can put a tremendous strain on your budget. Please browse our galleries where you will find a wide selection of attractive, affordable ceramic urns, as well as a variety of higher priced works of pottery.

Diverse pottery techniques create lovely results

Many of our pottery urns are Raku style ― a type of Japanese-inspired pottery. Artists carefully mold the clay by hand, rather than turning the clay on a potter’s wheel, then fire the pottery at high heat. The result is a truly unique and beautiful work of art.

Some of our artists prefer to turn their clay on a potter’s wheel, using special techniques to create stunning finishes and colors. For example, one artist rubs the clay with a polished stone before firing each piece of pottery, while another applies salt and soda in the kiln to create colorful “flashing” on the surface of each urn.

Ceramic cremation urns are ideal for display or burial

A unique pottery urn provides an ideal, beautiful and peaceful resting place for a loved one. If you’re looking for burial choices, this type offers some of the most biodegradable options available. All our artists use earth-friendly materials that biodegrade over time after burial.
