In 2010, in memory of their son, Eric, the founders of Une Belle Vie, Melody and Mike Jamali, established Eric Cares to provide timely, compassionate assistance and resources to families for when the unimaginable happens — the loss of their child or baby. Many times, as a result of the devastating emotional and financial repercussions of childhood illness, families need resources and financial assistance to beautifully memorialize their child.
Eric Cares is a dedicated program of There With Care, a 501c(3) non-profit based in Colorado. The program focuses on providing support and assisting families with funeral arrangements and expenses following the loss of a child or infant to terminal illness.
This year, Eric Cares plans to dramatically grow their assistance to local families in the Denver and Boulder metro areas by expanding services to hospital NICUs (neonatal intensive care unit). Since Denver has some of the busiest and highest level NICUs in the Rocky Mountain region, the need for Eric Cares services has drastically increased and they need your help.
As a result of this increased need, they are launching a donation matching campaign. Now through December 31, 2014, Une Belle Vie will personally match all donations to the Eric Cares program, up to $5,000, in an effort to expand funeral assistance to more families who need it.
Additionally, Eric Cares is proud to be involved with There With Care’s 2014 Red Carpet Adventure. As There With Care’s signature event, Eric Cares’involvement allows them to offer additional recognition and exposure to top donors, including mentions and logos in the Red Carpet Adventure Program, which will reach more than 700 people.
