Some people leave a kind of light behind them—soft, steady, and unmistakable. When Patricia reached out to us about creating a custom memorial urn for her daughter, Jennah Cassidy Cook, we could immediately feel that Jennah was one of those people.
Patricia didn’t just want an urn that was beautiful. She wanted a memorial that felt like Jennah—a tribute that reflected her creativity, her warmth, and the way she made others feel cared for. And as Patricia put it, she needed to find someone who could truly connect with her daughter’s spirit.
Jennah was born on September 19, 1998, and passed on December 19, 2025. Her nickname was “Pixie,” and it fits—because Patricia describes Jennah as someone who moved through the world gently, leaving joy behind her in small, meaningful ways.

“Desserts are love” — Jennah’s creative heart
Patricia shared that Jennah’s creativity showed up early: dance classes at five years old, art as a favorite subject, and a fearless curiosity for making things with her hands—painting, jewelry, watercolors, and more.
Eventually, baking became the place where everything came together. Jennah built her own baking business, Pixies Pastries, and poured her heart into every dessert. For her, baking wasn’t just a skill—it was a way of loving people. Patricia shared a line that says it perfectly:
“Desserts are love.”
Jennah’s work brought her into the Austin community, including vending at the Glass Coffin, baking for friends, family, and the American Legion in Bastrop, and hosting pop-ups in front of Chef Choo’s restaurant. Even when health challenges eventually changed what baking looked like day-to-day, Patricia emphasized that Jennah’s generosity, creativity, and love never stopped.
Designing a custom urn that feels like her
When we create a custom memorial urn, we listen for the details that matter most—because those details are where personality lives.
For Jennah’s urn, Patricia wanted the design to capture both Jennah’s sweetness and her creative identity as a baker. The final piece features a soft pink base with playful sprinkle accents, a bow detail, and a baking-inspired scene—like a lovingly set dessert table. It’s bright, warm, and unmistakably personal, right down to the “Pixie” name that so many people knew her by.
It’s the kind of memorial that doesn’t just mark a life—it reminds you of who that person was.

What Patricia’s story reminds us
When families come to us for something custom, what they’re really asking for is recognition: Please help me honor them accurately.
Patricia’s story is a reminder that the most meaningful memorials aren’t built from generic symbols—they’re built from the real-life details: the passions, the little sayings, the work someone was proud of, the joy they brought to others.
When those details are included, the memorial becomes more than “an urn.” It becomes a place where love can land.
Patricia’s story (shared with permission)
Below is Patricia’s message to us, edited only for small grammar and clarity changes:
For whom did you create your Custom Urn?
My daughter, Jennah.
Jennah was an extraordinary young woman with a heart the size of Texas and a gift for making people feel loved. From the very beginning, joy followed her wherever she went—not loudly, but gently, in the way she noticed others, cared deeply, and found happiness in creating beauty for the world around her.
Born on September 19, 1998, at Camp Pendleton, California, Jennah’s creativity revealed itself early. At just five years old, she began dance classes, and from that moment on, she was drawn to anything that allowed her to express herself. Creativity wasn’t just something she enjoyed—it was who she was. As she grew, art became her favorite subject, and it was always clear that her life would follow a creative path.
One of the earliest signs of Jennah’s independent spirit came on her thirteenth birthday, when she received a tattoo machine. I was totally against it—until she told me her first tattoo would be a heart with the word “Mom” wrapped around it. In that moment, love spoke louder than concern, just as it always did with Jennah.
As she grew older, her artistic curiosity expanded. She explored taxidermy, jewelry making, painting, and watercolors, never afraid to try something new. Eventually, she found her true calling in baking—a passion that combined creativity, warmth, and love. From her home kitchen, Jennah built her baking business, Pixies Pastries, where she poured her heart into every dessert. For Jennah, baking wasn’t just about sweets; it was about connection. As she believed so deeply, “Desserts are love.”
Her journey led her to vending at the Glass Coffin in Austin, where Joey Slayne gave her an opportunity that helped her grow and believe even more in herself. When the Glass Coffin closed, Jennah didn’t stop—she continued baking for her friends, family, and especially for the American Legion in Bastrop. Soon after, Chef Choo in Austin recognized her talent and invited her to host pop-ups in front of his restaurant. Jennah was thrilled, and the partnership flourished. She was doing what she loved most—making people happy.
Though health challenges eventually forced Jennah to step away from baking, they never took her passion from her. Her heart remained open, generous, and full of love. Jennah never stopped caring, never stopped creating in her own way, and never stopped wanting others to feel joy.
We are immeasurably blessed to have shared life with Jennah. Her absence has left a space that can never be filled, but her love remains everywhere—in the memories she gave us, the smiles she created, and the countless lives she touched. Jennah’s light did not end; it lives on in every heart she warmed and every moment of happiness she brought into the world.
Today, we choose to hold Jennah not in pain, but in peace. Peace in knowing that her spirit is free, her heart no longer burdened, and her light untouched by struggle. Though we ache in her absence, we find comfort in the love she left behind—a love that continues to surround us, steady and warm. Jennah brought beauty into this world through kindness, creativity, and joy, and that beauty remains. May we carry her forward in peace, honoring her life by loving boldly, creating freely, and finding joy the way she taught us to—without hesitation and with an open heart.
Tell us about your custom memorial urn.
To capture the beauty of not only my daughter but her creativity, I needed to find someone that could connect with my daughter. I needed an urn that showcased who my Jennah was, as well as her talent. The urn is perfection. It’s more than I expected, and it captured exactly who my daughter is. The professionalism of the staff was top notch, they communicated very well, and I couldn’t be happier with the final product. Thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier. I know my daughter would have loved it.
