Losing a parent is always difficult, and even more so when that parent is young and their death is unexpected. This is what Stephenie just went through with her dad. She had a very difficult time making all of the sudden decisions that had to be made. And one of those was her dad’s final resting place.
Here is Stephenie’s story:
“My dad was my best friend. He was the most generous, fun-loving, adventurous man. He helped everyone and anyone I could. He was an avid fisherman and scuba diver. His passions included coaching baseball and softball. He was a father figure to those who needed him and an amazing dad and husband to his family. He was taken too soon and we love him dearly.”
“My father passed very young. As sudden as it was we had such a hard time deciding on things. We looked at hundreds of urns but none that were as special as he. We had a vision of fish and sea animals in an array to honor his love of water sports. We thought we would never be able to have that and would have to settle. But they made it come to life for us. We cried tears of joy when we got our custom urn. We finally had the perfect place to put my dad to rest. The feeling of having something so specific to him gave us a sense of peace we could only ask for. We are forever grateful.”
Stephenie found peace in a very difficult time and is comforted knowing her dad is being honored in a way that shows what he loved and what his passions were.
