Some of our artists prefer to turn their clay on a potter’s wheel, using special techniques to create stunning finishes and colors on their ceramic urns and ceramic pet urns. For example, one artist rubs the clay with a polished stone before firing each piece of pottery; while another artist applies salt and soda in the kiln to create colorful “flashing” on the surface of each urn.
