Minimum urn capacity

(in cubic inches)

For every one pound of body weight, allow about 1 cubic inch capacity (for example, your 150 pound loved one will need an urn with a minimum capacity of 150 cubic inches). Remember, an urn can only be too small - if you're not sure, it's better to choose a larger urn.

Burial urns: Earth-friendly and affordable options

There are many reasons you may wish to bury your loved one’s remains ― from honoring your loved one’s wishes to respecting a religious tradition to wanting to keep your family together in a special burial plot ― and burial urns for cremation ashes may provide an ideal alternative to a casket.

Cremation burial urns tend to be significantly less expensive than a casket; they’re environmentally friendly; and they’re ideal when burial space is limited.

We offer several types of burial urns that are well suited for the ground, including decorative ceramic urns (which return to the earth in a slow manner) and biodegradable cremation urns (which dissolve quickly).
